ALTERNATIVE SPORTS TAKEOVER DAY
The Alternative Sports Day aims to help children in both primary and secondary schools, discuss and understand different barriers to sport. The main theme of the day will be for students to understand how disability can be a barrier to sport and look at how sport has also helped people overcome this barrier by providing alternative games to play.
As part of the takeover day students will also get an opportunity to take part in alternative sports activities to give them a taste to how different levels of disability can affect sports participation.
