NTFC SECONDARY SCHOOLS PROGRAMME
SECONDARY SCHOOLS MENTORING PROGRAMME
The programme aims to contribute to an improvement in the quality and standards of attendance, attainment of behaviour within their schools. Our staff work closely with the schools and existing teaching staff to support the key children in school finding it challenging to access education, engage in learning & self regulate themselves. We create a timetable for our Mentors alongside the school to meet the needs of their most vulnerable students as a prevention to suspension or exclusions.
We aim to provide quality mentoring and PSHE support to children from all backgrounds and all abilities and a tailored programme to meet specific needs of the school in line national curriculum requirements. Our staff deliver a range of interventions and sport specific clubs, before and after school, with sessions designed to be inclusive to all. We have specially designed sessions to improve the confidence and ability of students in core subjects such as English and Maths as well increase their own talents, using our Mentors as trusted adults this holistic approach supports a school's ethos in giving all students the opportunity to achieve their potential no matter their circumstance or background.
