CONNOR JONES

Education & Sport Mentor

I joined Northampton Town FC Community Trust as an Education & Sport Mentor in April 2024.

My role as an education and sport mentor is to work with specific students in schools to deliver the Premier League Primary Stars programme. In my role I have to deliver one to one sessions as well as group work, helping students understand different aspects such as confidence & resilience, as well as helping with any maths or english sessions.

Before I joined the trust, I had spent my life learning and playing football from a young age. Throughout my time studying at the university of bedfordshire, I gained my FA coaching badges and a degree in football studies. My passion has always been football, specifically coaching performers, in which this job was in my eyes, the perfect step forward.

When I am not working, I volunteer to coach football teams, most recently one of the Northampton Town girls teams. Aside from football, my main hobbies outside of this would be travelling to a variety of locations around the world.
