MATT SALMONS
MEDIA EXECUTIVE
I joined Northampton Town FC Community Trust as a Media Executive in July 2024.
As a Media Executive at Northampton Town FC Community Trust my job is to look after the media output for the Northampton Town Women, Academy and Football and Education Programme. My role is to promote the teams, create the women’s matchday programme and provide live updates of the games for social media. I also interview the managers and players after the game and write up a match report for the official NTFC website.
Before working at Northampton Town Community Trust, I studied towards a First-Class Sports Journalism degree at the University of Central Lancashire. Whilst at university I worked in the media team and Morecambe FC and Barrow AFC as well as freelancing for BBC Radio Lancashire. I am so excited to be able to work for the club I support and provide some fantastic media coverage for our women’s, academy and FEP teams.
